Many thanks to Snow Hewetson, who helped and guided me throughout my Tahr hunt in the Southern Alps! His knowledge and friendship made the hunt into something very special and unforgettable! I remember every detail whenever I see my fine bull tahr looking down on me from the wall in my trophy room – the long stalk uphill, searching for the animals, spotting them on the opposite hillside, the closing in and the shot, taken at 180 meters. And of course the loooong walk out, tired but happy, with heavy backpacks. I am sincerely looking forward to hunting with Snow again, whenever or wherever that may be.
